The firm's founding partner is Norman K. Wong, C.P.A. He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Mr. Wong has extensive public accounting experience. During his undergraduate years at CSUN, Mr. Wong worked for a small public accounting firm, followed by six years with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC), one of the "Big 5" international accounting firms. While at PWC, Mr. Wong both prepared and managed the preparation of numerous complex income tax returns. His clients ranged from small closely-held companies to large national, publicly-traded companies. Driven by a desire to create a firm that was truly responsive to it's client's needs, he established Harmon, Wong & Im. Currently, his clients include wholesale/distributors, not-for-profit organizations, professional service companies, internet products companies and retail businesses. Mr. Wong is the consummate all-around accountant, with outstanding skills in both accounting and tax. He is especially prized by the firm's clients for his outstanding analytical ability and his ability to efficiently complete an engagement.
